350 vortec buildup
I just bought my new 350 with vortech heads this weekend and im looking for a cost effective way to get 355-400 hp from it before NO2 im looking at keeping it around 9.5 to 1 compression. this is my daily driver so it needs to be reliable and run off pump gass
other than that i would like it if it didnt surge to much anyone have any sugestions or buildups theve seen online
Thankyou

Re: 350 vortec buildup
If you have stock truck Vortec heads, you will need to peel them off and get the valve pockets machined deeper and go with much heavier valve springs to be able to run a big enough cam to get you to your target. You will also need good headers, see exhaust section for that. What intake system are you using? What cam is in it now? Are you going to run nitrous with stock pistons?
