Decent heads

I came across these heads http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-12319/
My question is are these better then 416 heads on a 350ci? Im talking about after machine work and all that...
A friend of mine said his 86 Iroc 305 with a cam and tune will run harder then my setup which is a XE274 cam full kit, RPM intake, hedman headers, holley 650 carb and 3.42 rear. Just tryin to figure out whats best to spend some money on. thanks

Re: Decent heads

Those will work fine on a 350 and anything is better than factory heads. You'll spend a lot more rebuilding a set of factory heads than you will buying a set of fully assembled aftermarket heads.

You can spend roughly twice that much on some even better aluminum heads.

I can't afford aluminum or else I'd get a set of afr's. 200cc on the intake should support 400hp??? That's the goal I was hoping for with some bowl work and polishing. I also wanted to keep up the compression to around 10:1. If you know of a better head CC like idk they had a few others to get such as 74cc and 185cc intake ports.

Alright well I ordered them bare, ill get the valves someother time, the cam is a 274xe with .480in and .490ex its a complete kit with timing chain, valves o rings and locks, springs and retainers.
Is that head too much for that cam?
