Step #1 is to read the V6 to V8 swap sticky in the top section of this forum before you post a new thread about it.

Step #2 if you don't find the answers you are looking for, use the search feature. Most questions can be answered with a little searching and reading. This swap has been done a lot, so there is a lot of info on here about it, you just gotta look for it! Good luck!

Re: what is needed for a V6 to V8 swap
As far as I recall what I had to do was:
(Going from TBI V6 to Carbed V8... besides hacking apart the wiring harness)
- I turned the motor mounts upside down so only 3 of the four bolt holes lined up with the cross member. That gave me just enough clearance to fit the motor but it jammed the bellhousing under the car pretty far.
- Trans mount and plate needs to be changed so the TH350 can bolt up properly.
- Went from electric fuel pump to mechanical (personal preference), you can leave the electric as long as you have a regulator in it.
I also took it a step further and swapped my entire suspension from a Z28.
Where in NJ do you live? If you are local I am willing to give you a hand with it.
