Swap 2.8l for 350 88 camaro
pretty soon im buying a 350 v8 from an old chevy truck and buying an engine rebuild kit, then we're switching it with my 88 camaros 2.8l v6. The v8 is also going to be carburated and were going to get a performance tranny too. the only thing that we're not replacing is the rearend. So... pretty big project. Any tips?

Read the V6 to V8 swap sticky in the top section of this forum.
Understand that a carbureted SBC is only an emissions-legal swap in an '88 chassis per Federal law if equipped like an '88 Monte Carlo (i.e., 305 q-jet).
The basics are covered in the sticky. Anything more specific would require more specifics from you (engine size, transmission type, intended use, budget, etc.).
