V6->350

Going from a V6 to a 350
Do I need to change the cross member in a 88 camaro any info on this would come in handy

Car: Transformed 86 Coupe

Engine: 400 sbc

Transmission: 700R4

The crossmembers are fine. You will need V8 motor mounts though.

Besides the v8 mounts you also need a v8 trans. A guy with the id John_in_RI does/did v6 to v8 swaps all the time. Check the archives, maybe you can find his email address and ask him questions.
