I am planning on putting a 1992 Z28 350 with TPI into my 1992 RS which is a stock as a rock 305 TBI. I plan on getting the engine complete with TPI, computer, and wiring. What I need to know is what will I have to do to make this swap work? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated and extremely helpfull. Thanks for your time.

You'll need to change the fuel pump in your fuel tank to a higher pressure one (i.e. a tpi fuel pump.

 

Is that all I will need to swap if I get everything else?

You'll also need to make sure you have the 350's knock sensor as it is different than the 305's. I made this identical swap in my '89 RS so feel free to ask me any questions ya got. Good luck.

If i get the engine whole should it have the knock sensor still on it, and where is it so i can check for it? How long did the swap take you? What problems did you run into? Any more info that you can share would be great. Thanks again for your help.
