Ok, am I killing myself for nothing?
I have done multiple engine swaps in third gens. I've done v6 to v8, carb to fuel injection, and automatic to manual. I am doing a lot of carb to fuel injection swaps and have to do extensive wiring swaps. The last two cars that I did I changed all of the under hood wiring except the headlights. All of the under dash wiring and the entire rear body wiring. I can do it and make it work but it seems like an auful lot of work. Is there an easier way?

I just picked a complet tuneport motor and transmission with engine harness and computer. Is there any way to install this without having to change the in car harnesses and still have everything work?

I run into this problem in camaro to camaro, camaro to firebird, and firebird to firebird swaps.

The specific car I dealing with now is installing an IROC motor and trans and computer into an 86 Trans am with a carb 305?

I know about the aftermarket wiring harnesses but staying in a third gen car I don't want to spend that kind of money
