i have pulled my 3.1 and 700r4 and disconected my ecu. wat else do i not need? i have a 350 and a 700r4 to put in it and i have a quadrajet to put on it, i was just wondering if thats a good combo cause this is my first engine swap. im looking for a very streetable car but also a car that has some get up and go. im just trying to get ideas for the car in general so all suggestions are welcome

There is a sticky in the top section of this forum on the V6 to V8 swap that covers all the basics. The specifics not covered would be things like fuel system changes when going to carb, air cleaner you'll need, details like that.

Read the sticky first. It sounds like you're on the right track, but some details like what the q-jet came from, what distributor you're planning on using, what throttle cables you'll need, etc., will need input from you.
