ok maybe someone has done this before and can help me, i have an 87 iroc with a 305 tpi and a borg warner t-5 , i would like to drop in a 400 small block i have, and use the tpi setup, also would like to drop in a t-56 6 speed while im at it, what do i need to change? what will i be abe to use? any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

look throught the tech articles...i think there is one...or post in the engine board...i remember someone had a detailed account of that t56 swap. for the 400 starter look into the archives a little...there was a guy who gave part numbers. thread started by Black Beauty

 

You will need part number 700173 from Centerforce for the externally balanced 400. As for starters, you need the small nose chevrolet starter.
