CENTERBOLT HEADS

HI,
I WAS OFFERED A 350 WITH CENTERBOLT HEADSFOR 250$, I HAVE A 305 WITH THE REGULAR HEADS RIGHT NOW AND I WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH I WOULD I HAVE TO CHANGE TO MAKE THIS WORK? THE CAR IS A 86 Z28,WITH TPI. THANKS

not sure how far you're going with this, but if it's just r&r of the 305 to 350 it'll bolt right up, nothing differant. the intakes are differant if you do a intake swap. actually it's the center bolt holes that are differant.

so everything should bolt right up the same way whether it centerbolt or not? he put me under the impression that there was a difference between the intake because of that. i'm just not sure, i am new at this. thanks

Axle/Gears: 12 Bolt 3.73
Most everything will bolt up. The intake center holes are at a different angle so you will need to elongate them to to fit the new 72 degree angle. If you have a two piece rear main seal crank, it will you might find a different bolt pattern on the center bolt motor crank as they have a one piece rear seal, so you would then need that flywheel or flex plate.

Axle/Gears: 10-bolt w/3.73s
if it is in good shape take it! the centerbolt motors come with the 1-piece rear main seal, and a roller cam, which is some good stuff.
