im looking at buying a '91 z28 and am going to take it for a spin tomorrow, i was wondering what exactly i should be looking at as far as problems that might have arrived from the engine swap. it has a '93 corvette LT-1 in it, attached to a worked on 700R4. since my last fbod has fallen apart i want to really make sure that i get a good one this time.

 

Opti-spark ignition and waterpumps both go at about 50-75k. There was a recall on the air-pumps just recently.
