A wiring harness not emissions legal, wtf?
Why in he!! is the Painless wiring harness for an LT1 (60501) not legal? Does it shock people that try and touch it or it intentionaly pumps out more smog than the stock harness? I know taking off the cat and some internals aren't legal, but a wiring harness?

Baz89RS hit it on the head. Companies that build EFI harnesses like Fuel Injection Specialties can delete emissions connections from their harnesses like EGR and AIR diverter valve, if a customer requests it. This is for those that are interested in putting a late model engine into an older car where emissions aren't required. Plus it looks cleaner than having to hide a connector that isn't plugged into anything or having extra wires that aren't being used.
