I'm just curious what I would have to do to drop a 350 in my cammy.. Right now it's a 305.. Am I going to have to change things like the axels and the tranny?? Someone said this to me before but I don't think I have to.. Someone enlighten me on this information.

Well, since your site isn't up yet, and you didn't give details about your 305 (year, induction, tranny, etc.), it's a bit hard to answer your question with specifics.

Generally, though, the 350 will bolt in place with your current induction, exhaust, and accessories. If it has a knock sensor, a 350-type sensor and module should be installed (although not absolutely necessary). A 350 harmonic balancer should be used. The heads will have to be the same for your intake to mount (in other words, '86-newer or '87-later; new has to be the same as the current). And, depending upon your current engine and what you get for a 350, you need a flex plate/flywheel that is made for the type of rear main seal it has (one- or two-piece).

The axles and tranny will be fine, although a 5-speed might be a bit weak for all-out thrashing by a torque-happy 350.
