What do I need to swap 350 into 91-92 f-body?
I need to know what kind of 350 can I swap into a 91-92 firebird are L98's cars or just the enignes easy to find? I know they make a ZZ4 kit but that is for 82-87 f-body's what will pass emmisions is what I need to know. I live in Austin, Texas by the way. I am planning on probably TPI cause I want to supercharge it. Any suggestions? Can I get away with putting a 350 in it and just tune it to pass emmisons?

any SBC will fit. if you want to keep the induction system you have just swap it and all the sensers and you shouldn't have too many other problems, maybe a custom prom.

I was told, that if you want to keep the TPI, you'll need to find an 87 and newer block that isn't LT1 or LS1, swap out the knock sensor, get a new chip, and you should be good to go from there.

Not to be contrary, 90Iroc, but it is the heads, not the block, that that determine whether or not you can keep the TPI.
The ZZ4 would work, but you don't want to buy the conversion kit. Just buy the basic engine and make the TPI fit (center two intake manifold bolt angles will be different on the ZZ4 than on a 91-92 TPI). They can be made to pass emissions - guy here has a highly modified ZZ3 w/TPI, and he passed first try.
