V6EFI to V8carb question
i have a V6 in my bird, and i am putting a mild carbed V8 in it. my question is this, will the factory gauges work? i know the tach wont, but what about the oil, temp, voltage gauges? i am assuming i will completely unhook the computer, i am not for sure all of the things i will have to do untill i start the project. also, i am wanting to use the stock electric in-tank fuel pump, i know i will need a return line and a fuel regulator to run this setup with a carb. thanks for any help. lil j

Those others should work correctly, as long as you get the right sending units. You can swap the tach with a V8 one and that will be right too.

Voltage will work, Oil will work, Temp will work. Throw a MSD box in there to run the tach as long as you're doing the swap. Also, use a Mallory 3+ adjustable fuel pressure regulator. It will allow you to use your stock MPFI pump.
feel free to email me any questions, as I have done this swap a couple of times...
