L98 heads?

L98 heads?
I'm having problems finding a more powerful motor. i currently have an lg4 in my 85z. i want an l98 but cant find any. an lt1 will cost to much with all the extra parts i would need. could i put l98 heads and a TPI system on my 305?

sure you could, they'll bolt right up. i think the l98 heads have larger chambers and the smaller bore will make the valves restricted so if that's correct you won't see a preformance increase.

You can build a mild 350 and reuse the induction and computer system, and the car won't know the difference.
