LT-1 conversion...need help!!

I am planning on putting an LT1 in my '90 RS. I know a guy that can get me an LT1 with a T56, all sensors, and wiring, for $3000. I know another guy who can get me a corvette LT1 for about $2500. Which is a better deal, or does someone know of a better one? Also, what kind of trouble would I run into when doing the swap? I mean fixing all the little bugs and stuff.

vette = 4 bolt mains as well
i think the camshaft is a little different too. so, i would go witht he vette stuff since it is cheaper and in theory, stronger because of the 4 bolt mains.

The corvette block is not aluminum. its the same as the camaro block exept for the 4 bolt mains.
I have always been told that the power dif between the 2 motors had to do with the intake tract and the exhaust manifolds.
A tuned port air box can flow as good as a vet box, and you cannot use vette manifolds on our cars. ( I would recommend using slp 1 3/4 headers)
Imo the camaro lt1 would be the better buy if it comes with the t 56. I have seen them sell for over 2000 Dollars alone.
Hope this helps.
