T.P.I. into a non-injected car - Fuel Pump Questions

I'm in the process of installing a 89 T.P.I 350 into a 68 RS Camaro. My question is about the fuel pump. My first thought was to buy an aftermarket electric pump but they all seem way too expensive (approx $300). I would also have to build a small reserve tank in the fuel line to prevent starvation on hard cornering not to mention trying to find a place to mount all this stuff.

Lately, I've been considering just modifing the existing tank to accept the 89 in-tank pump. To do this, I will need to cut the top of the tank and weld a fuel holding pan into place, again, to prevent fuel starvation during corning.

The third option I suppose would be to buy a fuel cell of some type. There again, the expense makes this less desirable.

I guess my question to this group is: what modification have you sucessfully completed to convert your non-injected car to fuel injection? Does converting the original tank seem feasible?

Thanks for the feedback (in advance),
Roy

I could be wrong, but if you go with something like the T-Rex inline fuel pump you shouldn't need another area to hold fuel to prevent starvation in the corners.

Hummm... The T-Rex is still around $250. That may be an alternative but I've read a few comments and they all have said the pump is quiet when first installed but get noisy very quickly. I don't like the sound of that. Also, with out a reserve fuel supply, wouldn't it simply starve for fuel on hard corners like all the others? Any other ideas?
