Ok so I have a 305 TBI right now, But Im doing the LS1 swap. Should I try to find a stock TPI air intake box like what comes on the 82-92 TPI's or should I just route a tube from the throttle body to the side and just put an air cleaner on the end? wasn't sure if the stock TPI air intake was very restrictive or not..

 

the stock TPI air intake is pretty restrictive for the ls1 from what i've read. everyone that does these swaps make there own cold air intakes. And intake for a 04-06 gto will work well for you.
