I own an 84 TA 4bbl HO with the 305. I'm thinking about putting in a 350. Would the 305's emissions electronics handle a 350?

 

I am planning this for my car and have always been told that just swapping the long block is all you need to do providing that everything is in good condition. The exhaust will be a restriction if you dont change it though.

What kind of changes would need to be done to the exhaust nestz38? And how much power with the stock exhaust if I don't? Thanks.

 

the ho engines already have larger manifolds and exaust.350s did'nt come in 84s so when you get it inspected do'nt mention its a 350

 

I'll try to remember the inspection remark, but if it passes emissions... who cares?
