v-6 to a v-8

I got a 92 camaro RS and under the hood there is a v-6. dont get me wrong i like it and all but im tired of getting wasted by mustangs so ive decided to drop in a v-8. I was told that i could put any engine in there but i would pretty much have to rebuild the whole front end etc. so i was wondering if anyone know whats the biggest engine i can drop in with the greatest of ease

any SBC will drop right in and fit, your car also was avaialble with a SBC. maybe motor mount location would be differant. if you want to keep the ecm controls will be the biggest problem. converting the harness and prom.

New front springs (for a v8 Firebird/Camaro) would be all you'd need for the front end. Guys have driven with the old V6 springs in there, and some say it's fine, some say the ride sucks.

Add a new transmission to the list; the v6 trans is too small to bolt up to the v8.
