Whats a fair price for swapping a motor?
Im looking forward to buy an 87IROC w/ an L98 for 900bucs I know i could do the rearend swap and some of the suspension. But the motor swap is too much.
I need someone to the swap into my 91 RS so what prices should I expect to be charged?

Transmission: Still works
Axle/Gears: need 3.73
A guy paid me $300.00 to swap out his 85 Iroc 305 for a rebuilt 305. It took 2 days.

I took my car to a service place and they wanted $1100!!! I don't think so!!!
I looked around, and Under a friends recomendation I found a place that is doing my engine swap for $500!!!
I think that is a Great price!!!!
