Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
First of all do a search through the archive. There are lots of messages about doing the swap.
Swapping the parts depends on what you originally have and what you want to do with the car. Originally tranny's and diffs can break with a stock small block just as easily.
It's easier to build a 400-500 HP big block than it is with a small block. Even a 400 HP big block is a stronger engine than a similar small block because of all the extra torque.
