Doe anyone know what kind of power rating the awesome Super Chevy Project: Silver Streak made? I am thinking about getteing the World Industries 305 heads and I just wanted to see how they worked on Silver Streak! -Thanks!

I have the May, 2000 issue of Super Chevy with the final story on that car, and this is all they said about the engine, "Wheeler's also handled the Camaro's engine and transmission swap, although the engine itself was built and dyno-tested at Westech Performance Group. Wanting to prove that a 305 could be a contender, we ordered up a PowerPlant 335 Stroker engine kit from Powerhouse and bumped the V-8's displacement up to 335 inches. We also added a set of World Products S/R Torquer 305 heads, a Comp Cams camshaft (.444-inch lift, 212-degrees [intake] and 218-degress duration), and Magnum rocker arms. We topped the smal-block with a Street & Performance Tuned-Port Injection system and MSD distributor. An Integrator Harness and computer from S&P helped us hook up the fuel injection and convert out TBI Camaro to TPI operation."

That's all they said about the engine, but they went on and on and on about the paint and body.

 

If I remember correctly they made 300 hp maybe a little more.

Really? Only 300 hp? Thats not that much, considering all of the time and money that went in to it. They were better off with a bigger engine, I know cuze my 305 is a dog!
