Flex From 5.7 in T-tops?

Flex From 5.7 in T-tops?

I plan on getting a Remanufactured motor and i was wondering if i should stay with another 305 or get a 350. Im kinda worried about Chassis Flex. so what should i do? Go with a 350 and get a pair of SFC's? But then what electronics and other Misc. crap do i gotta change over? Im having a shop do the work so i need some opinions.

I don't get any flex in mine and it was an original 350TPI with T-tops. The car now has SFC and a 6 point roll bar to stiffen it up.

Racing at 3500 feet elevation but most race days it's over 5000 feet density altitude!

I'm putting a near 500hp 383 into my 305 T-Top IROC-Z. I'm getting SFC's and a STB to start....if I need more I'll get a cage.

after i put my engine in, i started to get a little crack in teh paint neat the corner of the passenger side t-top. maybe a coincidence, maybe not. i am DEFINITELY getting the SFCs though.

Get the SFC's. When my car was a V6 it cracked a T-Top.

as far as changing electronincs, i didnt have to change anything. last sumer i took out a dead 305 and out in a 350.

when i tried the chip from the doner car, the engine wouldnt start.
