just a quick question.
if i put a zz4 in my camaro, headers, hi-flow cat, and so on, what are the chances that that will get through emisions testing in Oregon?

i was not planing on stock injection, i was thinking of puting on aftermarket TPI, but i was going to stick with one that was 50 state leagal.
also with a zz4, would i need to replace my tranny and rearend right away or could i get away with the stock 5-speed off a 305TBI. for at least a couple of months.
also, will a zz5 work with all of my accesories, AC , PS, and the sirpiteen (spelling) belt?

Don't take it to the track and the rear and tranny will be fine. My rear died an ugly death on my second ever track launch.
All the accessories should bolt on. It's almost completely identical to an L98 block externally.

ok right now i have about 6k for the swap, so i am trying to figuer out exactly what i want.
i see all sorts of difrent options, and am trying to narrow them down.
if i go with a zz4, and sugestions on which one, i see tones diffrent options on it. (fast burn, long block, standart zz4, ect)

or would it be a better idea to upgrade the tranny/rear-end and suspestion, first so that is ready to handle a new engine, before i drop the new engine in?
