I am building a 400sbc with a 248deg duration .555 in. lift solid roller cam(too big?), 5.7 in. rods, 64cc 2.05/1.60 Dart heads, around 10:1 CR, flattop pistons, and my question is which induction system should i use? Miniram, superram ,or something else?
I will use nitrous and possibly eventually supercharge.
This is all going in an '89 RS auto t-tops.
Also, six speed or auto? I kinda want an auto but i like six speeds also.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

With flat top pistons and those heads, your CR will be more like 11:1. Bad nitrous combo.

12.5cc dish with 64cc heads gives about 10.4:1, which is the combo I am running. If you're going to use nitrous you don't need as much cam, especially not on the intake side; you need a big exhaust lobe. Remember, nitrous is essentiall liquid oxygen, so you're sort of bypassing the restrictions on the intake sode; but you still have to get the spent gases out of the cylinder.

Get Comp to grind you a custom cam, with their XR270 intake lobs and their XR282 exhaust lobe, on 112° LS.

Since you're starting out with a TBI car, you'll have to buy whatever induction you use, from ground zero. The lowest buck way out would be to go with a carb unless you just particularly want FI, and if you do and are willing to spend that kind of money, take a look at the Accel Pro Ram.

What are you going to do to the car to hook all this up to the pavement?
