Distributor.
Sounds like you've got a complete donor car, but read the V6 to V8 swap sticky in the top section of this forum.

Re: 350 fi to carb question
Just use a HEI Distributor a inline electric fuel pump and a high rise intake and carb
use all cross members and keep the front springs swap out your rear end and keep all the mis parts. pedals and linkage

Re: 350 fi to carb question
i mean dont use a a fuel pump on the side of the motor. i would use a electric one and run it in line and put a filter buy the carb.
and i said to keep all the mis parts that he will need later. springs k-member all the parts he can...

A mechanical fuel pump with return, as used by the factory, is fine. We aren't talking about a 500 RWHP full tilt racer here.
Keeping parts from old projects is a sickness. I know no cure. But, keeping the new V6 front springs that I took out of Berlinetta #1 in 1999 came in handy for Berlinetta #2 . . .

Re: 350 fi to carb question
ive heard of people using the v6 springs on a v8 for a lowering purpose ive never tryed it so i have no say.
yea go mechanical its the easy way and cheaper then a electric way. i run a electric in the back of the car and run a single line up to the front and keep the engine bay as clean as i can.
the reason i say keep the k-member is because i actally cracked mine in a couple diffrent places with a 350 so i swapped it out with a iroc k-member and springs. but my camaro has over 300k on it so yours is in better shape
