my brother just wrecked his 71 monte carlo and we were able to salvage the big block in it, its a built 468 10.5/1 compression roller cam and lifters with a 4 bbl holley double pumper edelbrock performer low rise manifold hooker headers, which l think are pretty banged up so theyre definately expendable, other than that what are my chances of getting that big block into my 1990 IROC Z in place of a 305. l'm guessing its going to require major mods, and missing wheel wells but right now its just a thought.

Nope, it's going to take minor mods and special headers. Intact wheel wells and a bigger radiator too, check the archives there are lots of pictures that have been posted in the past.
