Well I have got some news,I got the car down to the shop and popped the valve covers off and I had a suspision that the valves were not set right.I was right they were way too tight.We readjusted them and fixed the exhaust pipe and reset the fuel pressure to 44PSI and let her rip.Went to the local track which is only an 1/8 mile but it works.Anyway now for the good stuff,my first run without even heating the tires or letting air out was 9.6.Before the night was over,my best time was after I almost ran out of gas,it was a 9.4 at 71 mph.I guess it aint to bad for a pretty stock motor.Anyway thanks for the advice guys.Think maybe she might get to a 9 flat w/ hedders and roller rockers and gutted cat?
