Motor mount relocation

How far is it possible to move the engine mounts back and is it really worth it. Does it matter which engine you have since I know lt1's have the distributor in the front of the block.

Thanks

Moving them in what way? There's very little room to move the engine back without cutting the firewall and why would you want to put more weight over the front wheels by moving the engine forward?

If you changed the engine location, you would also have to change the tranny mount location, driveshaft length, exhaust system, probably rad hoses and anything else that attaches to the engine or tranny.
