what mods have to be done 89 LO3 to a 350. will the stock TBI unit work , can I just swap or is there more to it?

 

Eveything will bolt on fine including the TBI. Just use your same intake if you are going to use 87 or later heads. Pre 87 uses a different angle on the the two center bolts.

 

I'd recommend you get a new intake.. Either the Edelbrock or the Holley. I know there is a problem with one of them. Post this on the TBI board. Just make sure you build the 350 w/ a cam that the computer won't puke on.
