350tpi to a 305tpi

350 to a a 305, would the swap work with the 350's stock auto transmission?
will the 305tpi run as any other 305tpi with the 350's computer?
any and all input would be greatly appreciated.....
i have a 305tpi, i was just wondering if somebody could swap a 350tpi for a 305tpi and if they would have any problems with the swap.....
i bought me a 92 camaro that is in better condition than my 89 formula, but it has no engine and want to place my 305tpi in there, while i save up and get either a 350 or 383 for the formula...

The transmissions are completely identical. The torque convertors may have different stall speeds, but they will bolt up with absolutely no problems.

No reason the 305 shouldn't run on the 350 computer. But, if you're putting the engine in whole anyway, changing the computer wouldn't be that big of a deal - maybe 20 minutes if you take your time. Try each one to see which runs better.
