i dont really know much about putting in a new engine, but i have heard that some engines wont fit in certain cars and some are really hard to puit in, so i was wondering how i could tell what tould fit, a guy i know has a 305 HO crate engine that was going to be used on a tpi car for $500 and will it bolt right in in place of my lg4? it an 84 trans am. how much horsepower do you think it would have? how could i find out? also would a 400 fit in my car easily? thanks for your time.

 

All 305, 350, and 400 smallblocks bolt up the same the only difference is a 400 requires a different flywheel and harmonic balancer.
