If you have at least 3000$ it's possible. I've done it with a budget of 1700$ but it was with a 4l60 transmission and I got everything in the deal, motor, tranny, ecm,harness,mufflers,seats, vats passkey.
I had to get:
headers & y-pipe
fuel pump
many metal lines (fuel, ps, return lines)
tranny oil
motor oil
filters for everything
radiator hoses
connectors
4core radiator from 93 camaro
alternator (I had one with the engine but it didn't work)
I've made my:
motor mount
power sterring lines
radiator hoses setup
fuel lines
trottle cable assembly
lot of wiring trought all the car (real pain)
alternator brackets
radiator fan wiring
modify the cross member with a sledge hammer and a torch !
I did it in 1 week (8 days) 10 hours a day, alone most of the time.
that's all I can think for now, hope this help !
