'86 2.8 for a '88 Blazer 2.8???

My '86 2.8L died, I have a lead on a '88 Blazer 2.8L. What should I like for in this swap. Does it have the same injection (MPI)? Will the accessories bolt in? Or should I just use it for it's short block? I'm looking for a quick swap (not looking for power). If this is not a good swap then what's a good choice?

As I understand it, the S10 engine had the oil filter in a different location than the Camaro/Firebird, so if you use an engine from the trucks, you'll have to use an oil filter relocation kit. Take a good look at the oil pans as well, as they also may be different (not sure about that one).

Other than that, you should take your accessories off of your engine, including the induction, and put them on the truck engine.

As long as the short block is the same, I was going to replace the oil pump, so I can swap out the pan. The short block should be the same.
