if you would read through some of the posts that are here you would get a very good idea, but anything is possible, especially an LT1 swap, and it could cost anywhere from 1500 to nearly 3000, depends on what you do yourself

------------------
-'92 RS with self-installed '95 LT1
-Heddman Headers
-TPIS throttle body airfoil
-MSD 6-AL Ignition
Kills
-'97 Mustang Cobra
-'98 V6 Camaro
-'89 5.0 ****stang
-'97 Sebring
-'96 ****stang Cobra

Losses
-'99 Mustang GT
-'96 Mustang Cobra
-'95 Z28 (good race)
-'96(?) Turbo Eclipse (d*mn good race, heavily modified)

I think the Vette LT1 was rated at 300hp, while the F-bods are 275-285 depending on the year. I believe the only difference between the two engines(sans exhaust & air intake)was the use of 4-bolt mains on the Vette vs. 2-bolt mains on the F-bod versions.

the motor from corvette and camaro is the same execpt for 2 thing, 2bolt main, 4bolt for corvetteand the other thing is, the actual exaust manifold on corvette are better then the one on camaro. Corvette are always rated higher in horse power because what would be the point to buy a corvette if it wouldn't be faster then a camaro. 4th gen camaro are the poor's man porche !

But corvette manifolds dont fit thirdgens cause they are dump un the center, therefore itt wouldnt clear the frame.
