3.1 to an LT1
3.1 to an LT1
I have a 1991 rs with a 3.1 in it. i was just wondering what all i would have to do to put an LT1 in. I can get the LT1 really cheap, and my car is in excellent shape so i dont want to sell it and get a v8. that seems to always be the advice.

what little i know about this swap...you will need the complete wiring harness, fuel pump, the ECM, transmission, radiator, lines. i dont think you can use the A/C unless you do something special( i cant remember what)there are two long ongoing posts on the board about this swap. theres lots of things to change.
