smog legal conversion kit
Is there any CA smog legal 350 conv kit for 87 carbed manual transmission IROC Z. I've heard of ZZ4 kit for an auto tranny but not for manual. I very much appreciate any info.

No, not for manual. And not for the L-69 HO motor. Only the LG-4. I have no idea why this is the case.
However, I beleive there are many people who have done the conversion anyway and gotten it through emissions. If it retinas all the smog equipment (it does) looks externally idetical to the original 305 (it does) and blows perfume out the tailpipe (it does), how are they to know the difference? Fortuately, not even CA yanks off the heads and measures displacement or cam specs!!
