Swapped 88TBI to 91TPI, how do I hook up the VSS?
Hey Guys,
I swapped a 88TBI 305 to a 91TPI 350. I have the original dash (cable driven speedo) and 700R4 tranny. Since the 91 had a electronic speedo how do I wire up the VSS. Is there any way to use the signal from the VSS buffer behind the dash of the 88? Can anyone share there knowledge???

I believe you have to buy a conversion kit for it, to change the signal from the digital to the cable. I believe you can get them in Jegs or Summitt. Not sure of the price. Sorry I can't help more... Good luck!
