V6 T5 bolted to LG4 question....

V6 T5 bolted to LG4 question....
Im doing a motor swap and will be bolting my V6 T5 to my LG4 305. Will the V6 clutch and pressure plate work okay if the motor is stock, since its only about a 1/2" smaller than the V8 clutch? I talked to someone in Florida who did this swap and said the V6 T5 will work fine. I appreciate your help.

Axle/Gears: 3.54 R200 IRS
Use a V8 pressure plate and throwout bearing, pilot bushing, V6 early clutch disc, tell parts store u want one for a 84 2.8 5 spd.
