I have a 88 IROC Z 305 TPI 5 speed.... my 305 blew like 3 rods racing a mustang. I need a new engine.... a guy close to me has a 350 out of an 87 iroc.... im gonna put a zz3 cam, world products s/r torquer heads (2.02, 1.60 and ported out) and im gonna freshen up the block (it has 70K) with some TRW hypernautic pistons .030 over with rings and some other stuff..... is there anything i have to worry about ahead of time etc ANYTHING will the 350 block be a bolt in?? i know i well need 22# fuel inj or an AFPR, and 350 knock module..... ANY CONERCERNS OR HELP IS WANTED... also i have an extra plenum and manifold im gonna port out. and the tranny is getting a solid rebuild done to it.

GO for 24lb injectors and a aftermarket chip.
And maybe a better clutch to take the power.

Do you have sub frame connectors? Especally if you have T tops this would be a good bit of insurance to keep the Camaro's hard lines straight.

Yeah I agree with David, with that engine it sounds like you are gonna be making somewhere in the 300-350 HP ballpark, and a good bit of torque as well, you might wanna look into subframe connectors, and maybe a stronger rear end too, especially if you ever plan on running drag radials.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by David Petersen:
