350 blocks

Whats the difference between a 1985 350 block and a 1991 350 block. The only thing that I know of is the rear main seal. Do the same heads fit both?

Re: 350 blocks

they will both use the same heads without issue. depending on where the block came from, the newer one may have provisions for hydraulic roller lifters as well

Re: 350 blocks

Any SBC heads will bolt to any SBC block. The crankshaft flange and oil pan are the major differences.
