305 to 383 stroker
Ok i am ordering the full 383 stroker motor off of the jegs website it has 405 hp and 440 torque. I was wondering what all do i need 2 upgrade in my stock 84 Camaro to be able to run this beast like it needs. I am also ordering a new starter and aluminum radiator. Any advice on cooling or anything else i need will be appreciated

It should just bolt right up without any problems. Cooling should not be a problem either because it's only bored .030 over. Did you buy the dressed kit? Because it is a true turnkey motor as long as you all ready have a 1 piece rear main seal motor now.

Yes I bought the dress motor. Im just worried about the rear end and cooling. And if the tranny will be able to take the horsepower. And where I am going to be able to find the parts that i need!

I would get a transmission rebuild with a new performance valve body kit installed. Try and find a Z28 and get the rear end out of it. That should hold up OK.
