Ok well i blew up my 305. So now its time for a new motor. Only one problem. Cash is limited. So i was thinking i would buy a 350 block form somewhere(any good places you guys know of?) and then build up my engine piece by piece. And end up with a mildly bad *** 350 TPI or mabey should i go carbed? Hmm. Does this sound like they way to go? Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks A Lot. Bobby.

 

stock TPI chokes 350s. It takes $$$ to upgrade it. Just keep the TBI for the next engine and put a single plane carb intake under it, or maybe a Performer RPM.

I am putting a TBI 350 in my 91 RS. I am using a edelbrock performer tbi intake (a regular 4 bbl intake won't work), a custom chip burned by Jet performance, 350 injectors, factory ex. manifolds, a good cam, I don't remember the specs, and a flowmaster exhaust. So far, it has been cake, and it should be running this weekend. Knock on wood.

 

Regular Carb intake will work with TBI, all you need is the Holley Carb to TBI adapter.
