IS THIS TRUE?!!?
IS THIS TRUE?!!?
I've heard that V8 cars were made better? I'm talking about the body. Were they made for rigid? And no, this shouldn't be in body and interior. Thanks. Is there ANYTHING beside the springs and mounts etc, that are different? Like the frame or anything? Thanks.
"better" is pretty subjective and hard to quantify isn't it? better for what? naturally a iroc, ws6, or z28 would have heavier suspension parts and the convertables have a sort of factory SFC. the v8 cars will make more power than a v6.

I mean, were v6 cars made for a v6. And were v8 cars made for a V8? See what I mean? is the body of a v8 car stronger than a v6 car? Visa Versa? See what I mean? Okay, is a 84 trans am the same body as a SE? See. Same suspension? etc. Does that make sense?

Other than suspension components, the body of the cars are identical. As mentioned above, T-top cars and convertibles were made a little bit stiffer but other than that, they're all the same.
V8's got heavier springs depending on the model. WS6 and IROC's also got bigger sway bars.
