W16??
Ok i know this idea might seem a little outrageous but i was lookin at the new W16 Ferrari motor in the new Car N Driver and i was thinkin how possible would it be to swap into a third gen??... i think that would be badd *** to have a 16 cylinder motor in a third gen!! but i dont have an arm and leg to pay for a new motor out of a $200,000 car... so how possible would it be?

Anything's possible, but money's the limiting factor.I used to work for Bill Harrah (owner of Harrah's Club,Reno,Tahoe,Vegas and Atlantic City). When he was alive, he owned the local (Reno) Jeep/AMC Dealership,as well as well as the local exotic car dealership (Mercedes,Ferrari,Lamborghini,Rolls)in addition to his auto collection, which consisted of thousands of restored antique cars and race cars, boats motorcycles, even airplanes.Anyway, a Ferrari Boxer (BB512) got destroyed when the truck got in an accident on it's way to the dealership,so he had the restoration crew at his collection install the 12 cylinder Ferrari motor in his family car,a Jeep Wagoneer Limited! He routinely made trips from Reno to his property in Idaho (a long boring drive)and liked to drive at over 100mph, but the family wouldn't fit in his exotic cars, so they built the "Jerarri".
He liked it so much, that he actually considered building several a year for people who were interested.Jeep said OK, but Ferarri wasn't thrilled about it, so only one prototype was built, which he drove regularly.
It looked totally stock on the outside, unless you parked it next to another Wagoneer! The front fenders were lengthened about seven inches to accommidate the twelve cylinder! It's still on display at the William F. Harrah Automotive Museum in Reno.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that stranger things have been done, but without being a millionaire,it'll be considerably more difficult.
