305 TBI to 327 TPI swap

Asking for help from aal of you gearheads. I have rebuilt a few GM's before and purchased (stole) a 327 2 bolt main with dual "camel" hump heads for #50 bucks. I also have a perfect stock TPI unit from a 305 FBird. I need to know what I will have to watch out for when putting this engine in the car (91 R/S) and how easy or hard it will be. This is my first engine swap on a feul injected or computer controlled car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will I need to change PROM? Any sensors that I need to change? Is it a straight bolt in?

THX,
Carp

The MOTOR will bolt right in. What year is the tpi intake from? It needs to be from the old style heads to work. You will also need a computer and harness from a tpi car. Your tbi computer will not work with the tpi intake. If I were you I would forget about the tpi, remove your computer, and get a carb setup. They are MUCH cheaper and will work MUCH better on a 327. Tpi will choke a high rev engine like the 327 a lot. Do yourself a favor and go carb. Easier, Cheaper, Better. period.

also that engine will have NO assory holes on the heads so you cant use any of the assorys from your current engine, you will have to use all the assorys off the 327, if they still have it and if they will even work in the car,
