The flywheel to crankshaft threads on one of the bolt holes stripped. What is the procedure for fixing this. If tapped will I need to get a oversized custom bolt? Desperate for information.

 

Heli-Coil it.That way, you can still use the same bolt size.Any good hardware store will have a kit.You drill it out bigger,tap it with the Heli-Coil Tap,and screw in the new threads.You can do all of from under the car, without pulling the motor.

Try tapping the bolt hole with the same size tap as the hole. If there is minimal damage, then reuse the original size bolts.
