OK, this is the first time I've posted a new topic, but I need some info on this swap.
I Recently replaced my 305 92 RS motor with a 350.What I'd like to do is throw some rings and bearings in the 305 (maybe a cam, too) and stuff it into my 91 S10 2WD 4Door Blazer.
It currently has a 4.3 V6 with TBI and
all the TBI connections look very similar to me and from what I've read, the Camaro's exhaust manifolds are the easiest fit in the Blazer.Will the wire harness and computer work with the V8?I'm hoping I can get away with just the adapter/mounts and a new chip.Has anybody done this?

I plan on doing a similar swap. Check and see what the ECU service no is. I am believe it will have the 1227747 as the service no. If so you can plug all the sensors into the existing harness and just buy a chip from the dealer for a full size 1990 Chevy truck with a 305. Should make for a nice S10. Get an LT1 or L98 roller cam and spice that 305 up a little and make a very nice S10.
